When America stops being puritanical I think we will lose a part of ourselves.
Hopefully the crazy part.

You can drive at 16 but you gotta be 21 to have a drink.
America.
As far as I know military personnel under 21 can legally drink however. And you can join the military and die for your country at 18.
The only reason I care is because I wish I was in the room with Obama yelling at Malia. For some reason I think that'd be hilarious.
Also time for Key and Peele to bring back Luther for a short skit

This is incorrect, they can only drink under the legal age if deployed to a foreign country where the legal drinking age is 18 or below. Recently in Japan, they banned all military members (regardless of age) due to a string of very public alcohol related incidents.
Lots of people forget when you're in the military you're government meat and they can grind you any way they so choose.
It must used to have been true at one time then. I remember this being an exception back in the 1980's although it might have been phased out even then. I believe it was restricted to being on base too.
Tell a CO you have rights. I hear it goes over very well.![]()

Googled it, it is legal ( recreational ) in : Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, Washington but the wiki page only mentioned Washington that you must be over 21 to carry one ounce.
Edit : I thought that more states legalized it ( rec or med ), I guess I was wrong.
Back in the day the military was wasted all of the time, still is for the most part these days too but as wartime winds down they get more strict. During wartime though? It's on like donkey kong and they don't give a crap. My buddy was a corpsman deployed with the Marines in Afghanistan and he used to keep them on all kinds of illegal narcotics to stay fighting. pretty common from what he told me.
So no one knows for sure that it was weed. All we have to go on is what looks like a blurry ass video of her smoking what could very well be a cigarette, and the word of some nobody who's very likely looking for her 15 minutes of fame.
And even if it was weed...who cares? It's been decriminalized in Illinois, the state she was in, and despite being the president's daughter, she's a legal adult who can do whatever the hell she wants.
