Man Decapitated on Greyhound Bus

It's not about being "macho," but rather seeing someone being ****ing stabbed to death...you would think someone couldn't take seeing such cruelty. I honestly don't think I could have been there and done nothing, I couldn't take sitting there and knowing someone was losing their life by such horrible means and do nothing.

You think that, but you'd be wrong.

did not one of those people on the bus have any shred of balls?

I'm all for jumping in and helping people.

But this situation??

How exactly do you approach a maniac with a Rambo style blade?

Of course, the problem isn't that someone didn't have the will to stop this from happening. I'm guessing many people on that bus would have gladly stepped up to the plate to try and stop this guy. But, the man had a ****ing machete, and I certainly wouldn't put myself or others at risk in that situation. Besides, it happened so fast, I cannot imagine most riders had a second to think about it before it was too late.

i hope this scumbag gets the ****ing life sentance. death penalty works well also for this ****er. ****ing scumbag.

Well, thats what he gets for playing his music to loud.

Not the time to lose one's head...That's not the way to get ahead in life...It's a shame he wasn't more headstrong...He'll never be the head of a major corporation.

Just wow, people. I've seen some insensitive posts on this forum before but you two are really crossing the line. How would you like to hear that one of your friends or relatives was the victim of a brutal random attack that ultimately claimed their life? How would you like to be the victim? You wouldn't. Nobody thinks your funny, but I guess the fact that you think you are funny proves that you're both equally messed up.

If you think we were being serious, then I think you need to loosen your underwear..it seems you have it on to tight.

And, to be honest, society as a whole is a lot less sensitive about things like this...not saying its right, but thats how it is.

Obviously I didn't think you were being serious. Why else would I say you guys aren't funny? The point is that you are insensitive enough to poke fun at something so macabre, that you obviously have problems if you think you are cool by doing so. If you don't think you are cool by doing so, then why do it? To demonstrate your own immaturity and insensitivity? Exactly. Nothing you can say will justify trying to put a humorous spin on this situation.

It literally happened in no time at all. I don't recall anyone even saying they heard a scream. The guy was probably dead by the 5th stab to his chest, it's not like anyone could have instantly realized what the hell was happening and managed to save his life.

You wouldn't do ****. It's so easy to think you would be able to kung fu kick the dude and nab that machete out of his hand and save the day. But the reality of life is, 99% of people would not step in and try to be a hero, why? Because the guy is obviously bat-****-crazy and wielding a large knife. Someone who is willing to decapitate a person on a crowded bus, is willing to do anything.

I don't think anyone on the bus was a coward. I would have done the same thing, as would pretty much everyone else in the world. It's not worth it, the best thing to do was what they did, contain him alone in the bus and wait for police.

Too bad you weren't there to instantly kick that dude's ass and save the man's life...

This is just terrible, I literally have a sick feeling in my stomach after reading this. I can't believe what some people are capable of doing to one another, this is truly horrifying.

I would love to hear a follow up to this story. Like why the guy did it and his past.

It's horrific that someone was decapitated, but not surprising that it happened on a greyhound bus. There are some good people who ride the bus, but it also attracts the dregs of society. My brothers friend was robbed at knife point at a greyhound station. There is a greyhound station in dowtnown Dallas that is an epicenter to crime.

When I moved to Maryland a few months ago I rode Greyhound from Bama to here. I had my coat stolen on the bus. New coat too sucked. At least I didn't lose my head though. :(

But Michael Moore taught me that in Canada, I can sleep with my front door unlocked. This **** doesn't happen in Canada.

It's hard for me to take this seriously when you have a Joker avatar. Yeah, he's a fictional character but still.

at least the killer didnt kill himself like all the other wussie killers of recent times. now we can get some sort of explanation, no matter how little sense it makes.

No death penalty in Canada since the 1960s.

Well there were three men who prevented the killer from escaping the bus with his blade through the bus door and then trying to drive away with the bus. That takes balls.

What could possibly possess a person to do such horrible acts, especially as gruesome as this? What the hell is wrong with this world?
