Interesting it's on FXX because it's animated and, presumably, Marvel doesn't have to play with Fox for that. Hmmm.

Yeah, maybe there's some deep secret connection that allows this to connect to the MCU because it won't have anything to do with Fox.

Stretching and conspiracies aside, good for Donald Glover. The man is on fire, even though this means Atlanta Season 2 may not be coming for awhile.

Well, Archer's been moved over from FX to FXX as well, so they may already be open to animation

I really wish this was X-Statix instead. X-Statix IMO only works as an animated sitcom.

It'll be refreshing to have an adult superhero tv series after so many years. The last two that come to mind are Spawn: TAS and The Maxx. I can see a Deadpool being somewhere in between those two; the absurd humor of The Maxx and the gritty violence of Spawn:TAS.

I would love for a new X-Men animated series but this isn't bad. We never had a Deadpool cartoon series before.

Film, animation, something... I just need Doop brought to life. With the success of Deadpool... and so many X related films and tv, maybe something X-Statix can at some point be in the works...

I feel like Doop is too expensive for live action, particularly since he's a main character. Same goes for Venus De Milo.

And X-Statix's brand of humor works best with animation as well. Plus the lack of real villains means that a film is out of the question and a sitcom-style TV series is the only option.
