Max Steel

I didnt think he was good in New Moon, but thats not saying much.
I remember thinking this show sucked when I was little

But it could be a fun stupid action film

I loved this show when I was younger :(

And I thought he was perfectly fine in New Moon. He was one of the only redeeming things in the movie.

There best be a Mighty Max cartoon if they do Max Steel.

Taylor Lautner Trades Max Steel For Stretch Armstrong

Taylor Lautner is taking a serious look at all the projects he’s signed on for in the past few months. Between Max Steel and Stretch Armstrong, his future looks overtly campy and bright, but according to an exclusive report from Vulture one of these projects won’t survive.

The actor has decided to drop out of Max Steel in favor of the other toy adaptation, Stretch Armstrong. Why would he do such a thing? It was a battle between Mattel and Hasbro and in this case the latter walked away victorious. Hasbro was making the necessary moves to get their film into development a lot faster than the competition and Lautner was impressed with their urgency.

Also, when it comes to toy movie track records Hasbro does have the upper hand, i.e. Transformers, G.I. Joe, the upcoming Battleship, and even Candyland are all locked and loaded. What has Mattel produced that’s anywhere near that success level besides an array of straight to DVD Barbie movies?

Even though Stretch Armstrong makes more sense in terms of business savvy, the actual character development is what worries me. Lautner doesn’t look anything like the toy or the image of Armstrong we grew up with. I guess his Twilight fans will overlook that fact to make this movie a huge success regardless of its connection to the original toy.

out of the two, Max Steel is the better concept. but i'm sure Armstrong had the better check.

What is Hollywood trying to do make a SceneIt board game with all of their other board games in film?

I think Lautner needs to walk away from both of these roles in two very stupid concepts for movies, and go find a role in a parody film somewhere.

I remember this show when I was a kid. Watched it along with Action Man. Max Steel was cool though. I think he had the villain who looked part Terminator with blonde hair?

In terms of one piece of s--t looking better than the other, how do you decide that a Stretch Armstrong movie is better than Max Steel? At worst Max Steel would be disposable kiddy action flick like Agent Cody Banks.

Stretch Armstrong makes no sense as anything other than a cartoon.

OK so Im not sure if this forum is for the original Max Steel but Im here to ask if anyone knows anything about the movie that was suppose to be released this year?

There were images and concept art released a while back but its been completely silent since.
