What are everyone's plans / events / celebrations for honouring the 40th anniversary this year of New Hope and the launch of 'it all' ? Appreciate there is the 'official' Celebration in Florida but your own personal way at home or with friends etc. ?

Really ? No one is any way celebrating the biggest cultural shift in sci-fi cinematic cinema that came about and is 40 years old this year.

It's never wise to upset a wookie.....

Seems as no one is biting, on the 25th May (original release date of Star Wars in 1977) I will be watching all 7 episodes in order along with Rogue One by then prior to Episode IV in a party with nibbles, friends etc.

I might just watch A New Hope on or around the 25th. Probably not going to do a full rewatch of the saga until December right before The Last Jedi comes out.
