In this episode, 31st Century Booster Gold travels back 100 centuries to join Batman and become a celebrity hero. In his quest for fame, he unwittingly enables the immortal tyrant Vandal Savage to carry out his nefarious plot of turning everyone into cavemen and take over the world!

Sounds like an awesome comedic gold there

Bane looks awesome.

The episode has not even aired yet, and this is my favorite version of Bane ever, at least design-wise. I'm sorry, but EVERY take on him dropped the ball big time with Bane, and I can't believe it took this long to get the costume right.

I'm sorry, Green Lantern?

I'M NOT GREEN LANTERN!!!

Perhaps we will get another JLU reference a la Plastic Man?

They didn't give Bane no lines except growls.

Vandal Savage was not the villian.
Somone called Krull. Although he look like the old Captain Marvel villian, King Kull.
Decent episode.

Not bad; decent. Seemed light on the comedy and feelgood moments. It probably has something to do with the fact that I can't really stand Booster. 7/10; largely because Krull was more entertaining than I expected.

Not having seen the ep yet, I'm still disappointed by how many made-up villains we're getting recently instead of established ones. Sprinkled around like Scream Queen and Babyface were was good, but I much would prefer just seeing Vandal Savage.

I loved this episode then again Booster Gold is a character I've always been a fan off. It is a bit annoying how they rename the classic villains like Toyman and Vandal Savage though when it's so blatantly them. I guess it has to do with rights issues.

It was a decent episode but not so funny for me, maybe it was because Booster Gold was ticking me off rather then making me laugh out his sillyness. :D The ending was awesome tho haha.

Anyone know why they didn't call him Vandal Savage? It it some rights thing or was it not supposed to be Savage?

Were guessing its the legal issues, i mean why not otherwise?

In the teaser, Wildcat is called upon Batman to help defeating the superstrong Bane. This was a fun teaser. For the fist time, someone actually got Bane's design right. No Mexican wrestlers, gimps, or Red Hulks here. I do wish he would have talked, though. Wildcat was also used better than on his full episode in "Enter the Outsiders!"

As for the main story, Booster Gold and Skeets team up with Batman after he stops the robery of thiefs Punch and Jewelee. Booster believes this will help him with his popularity issues, but Batman is reluctant to team up with a glory hound like him. However, a series of thefts organized by the evil caveman Krull the Eternal force him to recruit the hero. Tom Everett Scott and Billy West reprise their roles as Booster Gold and Skeets, respectively, and continue to be great at it. However, the episode was not as funny as the JLU episode "The Greatest Story Never Told".

I'm confused as to why they combined King Kull and Vandal Savage into Krull, but it worked for the story. I was especially amused by Booster's scene with the toy company CEOs and them rejecting him because he wasn't an "A-list", and suggested him to team up with one. Kind of funny and ironic from the point of view of a fan.

All in all, a fun episode, but it did not feel as hilarious it could have been.

NEXT EPISODE: In the teaser, a flashback shows Batman and Robin teaming up to defeat a villain, but Robin's recklessness cause the villain to become blinded. Then, after foiling Solomon Grundy in Bludhaven, an older Robin is forced to team up with Batman when the villain, now calling himself Crazy Quilt, returns, and seeks revenge.

I thought this episode was fair when I first watched it, but I think you appreciate it much more a second time, once you've cooled down over the fact that they don't call him Vandal Savage. Booster is hilarious but still human, the guy love between him and Skeets is hilarious. The ending is simply brilliant too.

My favourite line was probably:
"So tell me Booster Gold, does the future kneel before me?"
*not paying attention* "...Huh?"
"Grrrr..."
"Way to keep the villain talking sir!"

Now they simply MUST have a Booster and Ted Kord episode.

fun episode but not very good IMO. I prefer not to think it is Vandal Savage, ugh.
Hey Tom Everett scott did an amazing job with Booster Gold (again), I really appreciated that they choose the same guy.

Just watched this episode, and it was decent. "Krull" ended up being a pretty good villain. Booster was annoying as hell, but that was the point, so he was great. :)

Billy West as Skeets =
