$200M In Global Grosses For 'Wolverine'

Twentieth Century Fox's X-Men Origins: Wolverine will cross $200 million worldwide today as it starts its 2nd week in theaters -- amazing. The box office is on fire!

UPDATE: The pic will open across Mexico on May 29th after it was delayed due to the swine flu outbreak which the Mexican government now says is contained. Fox announced today that Hugh Jackman will be visiting Mexico City on May 26th for a major premiere event of the film at the 9,500-seat National Auditorium.

Oooook, I must say that the idea everyone has about the whole swine flu here in Mexico city is bulls**t. Last week everyone here was on red alert, I spent it at a hospital because my nephew got his appendix removed. How many cases of swine flu were treated there? Not even one. Yeah, all the people had their noses and mouths covered and cleaned their hands every 5 minutes, but that's about it. It's not f**kin' Resident Evil here, believe me, it's not that easy to get the flu, the media gives you an idea similar to Post-911, when the rest of the world believed that if you took a plane in the US it would be hijacked.

Hugh comes to Mexico mostly because the box office will suffer with all the paranoia, bad reviews and the fact that lots of people have already seen the workprint.
