Yeah it's hard to see him at 45 and overweight but hey... He can still shoot :p

Also remember the good ole' days in his prime.

The best basketball player to ever play the game.

No questions asked.

Jesus I hate this prick. He is so overrated. Can't people just get over him already.:o

Seriously though. The man is the closest thing to god I have ever seen.

Crappy quality, but this is one of my favorite Jordan moments. Out of nowhere he just flies into the screen.

The greatest player ever, no question about it.

I must be the one guy on the planet that thinks he was way over rated...in the freakin 90's.

He dont look overweight to me. Seems in decent shape for a retired 45 year old who is 6 years removed from the league

Explain how he was overrated - Championships, scoring titles, all defense, MVPs, All Stars, etc, etc, etc.

If you don't like the guy, that's one thing, but overrated? :whatever:

Magic Johnson was a better player. Not only could he play virtually any position, but he was a winner, he was just as classy as Jordan, he made his team mates better, and had his career not been shortened i think he'd have had another title to match Jordan's six (granted MJ retired twice in his prime), and would have hit probably 25-30,000 points.

Jordan was a great player, no question about it. He IS the conversation when it comes to greatest of all-time. But people forget Magic was one of the most fundamentally sound players to ever play, Jordan gets a lot of credit from his flash and flare.

First of all, let me just say that Magic was absolutely one of the greatest of all time...

But even if his career wasn't cut short (he did play 13 seasons, so he was probably near the end anyway) what year would have one another title? The Bulls beat the Lakers for their first title and only got better the next two years.

Well the Lakers had some fairly solid teams when Michael retired the first time. In fact the Rockets were like a 7 seed when they won the title the first year i believe. The Lakers even had a better record. Put Magic on that team and he'd only be in his mid 30's.

You have a point, I guess. I was thinking titles while Michael was around, not the year and half of retirement.

I'll give you that as a possibility :cwink:

Now if i say Magic is the best all around player of all time.

Michael is certainly number two.

Um, Mid-30's is like retire, or get injured at any moment age. & that is for a Center. For an athletic man like Magic he more than likely would have already been retired by that time. If not his game would have not been anywhere what it was in the 80's.

Remember when Jordan came back the first time, & there were skeptics because he was 32? Maginc playing in his mid-thirty's would be like when Jordan played in Washington. He still would have been great, but not great enough.

FYI - Even Magic admits Jordan is the greatest.

Their will never be another, MJ is and always will be the greatest NBA player whoever lived .

I'll give Magic the second spot behind Jordan as greatest of all time. Jordan just did things you never saw before and haven't seen since. I think he is the only guard to ever win both Defensive player of the year and MVP in the same season. I'm not sure if another guard had ever won D-Player of the year before him. I think Gary Payton won it once in the 90s. And even when he came back for those 2 years with the Wizards, he was still averaging 20 something points.'

Edit: That video is awesome. Doesn't just show his "flash and flare", but his entire game. He was a 9 time NBA First team Defense for a reason. One season he averaged 32 points, which is nothing new for MJ and not even his career high. But he also averaged nearly 3 steals, 8 rebounds and 8 assists a game that season.

Michael was great, but David Robinson was my man
