Michael Keaton has joined the cast of the supernatural thriller Reaper, a stylish action-neo-noir film in the vein of Blade Runner, reports Production Weekly. Scott Kalvert will direct from a script by Gary Whitta, a comic book writer, novelist and video game developer.

Reaper is the story of Virgil, a private investigator who finds himself recruited by the darkly beautiful and mysterious Delia. As he begins to work for Delia, Virgil is suddenly immersed in a surreal underworld, one where the boundaries of life and death, as well right and wrong, are completely blurred. This unlikely journey also reveals the harrowing answers to the fate of Virgil's own daughter.

Filming is expected to start in the fall.

Wow, sounds pretty good and I really hope it is for the sake of Michael Keaton.

i'm there.

Bout time Keaton got back in the game...he's in a Sundance movie called Game 6 and a voice in Disney's Cars...glad to see he's making real films again.

Looks interesting. Is Keaton playing the lead, or is he a supporting character does anyone know?
