Microsoft Windows Vista - will you take the plunge?

I'm still running on Windows XP service pack 1, I haven't been able to upgrade since my internet connection is to slow to download the service pack 2 software & the discs to do the upgrades is far to expensive. I've got like a ton of files on my 31GB harddrive that I would hate to lose or have to transfer to disc & then go through the trouble in reloading all the stuff that I have been accumulating for years back onto my computer.

You should just partition your hard drive then.

My current OS is fine and I'm unlikely to change it unless/until I either:

a) get a new computer
b) can't find a version of software that I want that will work on my OS
c) get a new version for free
