She seems to be one of the very few teen female tv/movie stars I've seen with actual talent......who could act. She destroys Lindsay Lohan, Duff and all their clones.

I think her attached to this is a really good sign. She was great in the tv movie "Tiger Cruise" based off the events of 9/11. Her on this show gives me some hope that it will be cool, despite a very bold, risky 4400/mutant-X premise.

But her cheerleading outfit IS flammable - they show the firefighters ripping it off to get to the burns they believe are beneath....or her booty....whichever...I'm sure firefighters aren't picky...

I doubt it - and I don't think it would be necessary. The point of the show seems to be about giving people one unique power. Hers would be invulnerability. It would unnecessary to give her anything else.

It's a drama about dealing with superpowers - it's not about making a Supergirl Clone.

Well, maybe it's a more subtle thing, like the guy from "Unbreakable" - where she could get minor injuries, but never anything life-threatening. It won't go noticed with minor accidents, but will be noticed with major disasters like fires and the jumping off of buildings and whatnot.
