I'm so sick of this world. Nearly all of our every day actions consist of making our fellow humans life a living hell. Especially we in the Western world. And all for what? Just to get a shiny new version of tech every 6 months or so, while our slaves that provide for us don't even have basic needs. Trully depressing.

I think this might be Spider's optimistic breaking point.

...so does anybody else want to make the reference, or should I?

Not really. There are many of us who don't pay attention to foreign world issues, like humanitarian crises and exploitation of children. Hell, some of us don't give a damn about the problems we face in the place we live in. So, yeah I don't think everyone is caring on the same level.

You should throw away all of your electronics. Set an example.

Unfortunately that is somenthing I can't do. What I can do is reduce my consumerist needs to the basic ones. Yeah I know it isn't much of a diference but still it is something. If many of us minimized their consumption habits, we would achieve a small change.
