:funny: Yeah, Sheeva is the one who turns into a scorpion.

lol

And Scorpion also morphs into a scorpion, but that is in MK4.

I know that it's confusing. It is one thing to question the official story, and another thing entirely to make wild accusations, or insinuate that I'm a superhero, because that would be outlandish and, uh, fantastic. I'm just not the hero type. Clearly. With this laundry list of character defects, all the mistakes I've made, largely public. The truth is...

Uh--what?
lol
You lost me there.

Anyone think the game is a bit too easy? The hard mode wasnt giving me much of a challenge so I put it on Expert now and while a bit harder, still feels releatively manageable.

Oh, I remember now. ''Clearly.''

Well, I played on normal, and yeah, it was pretty easy. I didn't lost one match. I'll try on the hardest now.

But at least it is not as hard as the old games, where I could set the difficulty to very easy and still have the enemy wiping the floor with me.

They may have toned down the difficulty a little. Back in the day, the first guy you faced on MK3 would beat the **** out of you :cmad:

I actually had some trouble on "hard" mode, Scropion kicked my a$$ pretty good a few rounds but managed to win after a round or 2. I haven't even tried "expert" yet and won't until I have all the moves down. Johnny Cage has been the most effective fighter by far, his combos and moves are sooooo fluid and easy to pick up, Mileena is surprising good too, at least I mean, I'm learning her moves pretty well, Scropion is fun as always but I'm still trying get that teleport and takedown move down! Sub-Zero, while that ice ball will never stop being awesome, is kinda slow at times with unleashing a move, especially the ice puddle which feels like forever to unleashes when your opponent goes in for a punch or kick while your doing it. Should be faster.

I think the game will be MUCH harder when the real game comes out, I'm sure the demo was only a taste of how EPIC and brutal the game really will be. I can't wait...and can't stop playing the demo!:woot: April 19th can't come sooner!!

I've been playing sub-zero over and over on expert trying to get a solid handle on all of his different combos. I still have a long way to go.

I've never felt like dedicating myself to the time it's gonna take to get good at a fighter like I do with this game.

Figured out why the game felt odd to me before. Capcom fighting games require timing on the combos, while Mortal Kombat reads each input and acts accordingly. I've heard of "dial-a-combo" before, but thought it was like target combos. Now that I've made the adjustment, the demo feels much smoother.

I had a hard time playing with her on extreme. I defeated the first two fighters with some difficulty, but couldn't take down the third one, Scorpion, after many tries.
Then I chose Scorpion and won on the first try. He is my favorite to play. His combos just chain so greatly, though I still have to figure how to do it without leaving an opening.

I gotta say, I dont understand the people who say JC is easiest in the demo, IMO hes the hardest. Sure hes easy to do small combos with, but if you want to do bigger combos like back+X for the pop up, then triangle, square, then triangle, square, then triangle squre, then another two hit combo+plus enhanced flip kick, the timing on the 3 triangle squares are freakin way harder then any timing with sub or scorp, I actually find subzero the easiest to use by far. Its neat though that johnny actually plays and combos entirely different then sub and scorp, really makes him feel unique and adds to the replay value

What about today's reveal?
Any news?
