I think Sony Classics are terrible at promoting their indie films. That's why Wackness didn't get enough of an audience.

The Lookout. You may have seen this one by now; it came out toward the beginning of 2007. I saw one ad for it and it looked like a generic heist movie. Then I saw it on DVD and it was quite good.
