Great, there's our R-Rated Punisher. And I do so love the pervasive strong brutal violence, it's heads and shoulders above the normal brand of violence.
Good news! Too bad "MAX PAYNE" got watered down. It was based off of a Mature-rated game. How could you **** that up?
The Dark Knight's audience was everybody, it's the second highest grossing movie ever. Max Payne ain't putting up those numbers. In fact, I don't know WHO Max Payne's audience is. People who play the game and teenage boys I guess. That's probably why they needed PG13.
People went and saw Shooter and that was R.
I can't wait til December 5th 2008, when Lexi Alexander's...Punisher War Zone...Punishes the rest of the box office competition into submission, and emerges from this War Zone...#1 with a bullet.
I'm agreeing with Micro on this one.I don't see anything competing with PWZ,the only I see is **** films nobody is going to see LOL!Now that is being optimistic there. The only way it punishes the competition is if it's the only movie opening that weekend and it's not the only movie that weekend...
December 5
- Cadillac Records
- Extreme Movie
- Frost/Nixon (limited; expands: Dec. 12; expands: Dec. 25)
- Nobel Son (limited)
- Punisher: War Zone
- Timecrimes (Los Cronocrímenes) (NY)
- Tokyo! (limited)
Actually, those Scary Movie knockoffs, which I'm assuming 'Extreme Movie' will be, have a way of attracting just enough stupid people to screw with the B.O. Hopefully even the morons will have learned their lesson by now and avoid it.
