Opening credits officially online

Looks GREAT i bet it looks eve better on a full screen cinema the part with castro and the silluoette kiss look amazingly detailed.

Cant wait to watch.

Wow. That is really well done.

I loved the credits, but to me, it dragged a little IMO.

Ahh! I want to see it again. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow.

I'll be seein' it again next week, I'm sure (but I'm goin' the cheap days :hehe:)

I must say, this is probably Snyder's best featured work for Watchmen. If only because it was almost entirely his own idea and it was executed flawlessly. Quite possibly the best opening credits sequence I've ever seen.

Indeed!

Ah, and adding "Times They Are A-Changin'" just makes it flawless and gorgeous. Great stuff.

I loved how the music fit with the opening credits. You'd think it'd be hard to fit 40 years of alternate world history into an opening credits sequence, but they managed to pull it off pretty nicely.

I love the opening montage, and this song is quite appropriate.

0:30 the Thug who Comedian is holding is Zack Snyder. ;)

It definatly looks like him, who could it be then? :o It really looks like him and adds to the touch when the text "a Zack Snyder film" shows.

Zack is in Vietnam as a soldier behind The Comedian.

Looks nothing like him from what I saw. Snyder's only cameo is during the Vietnam sequence as one of the soldiers next to Blake. But I could be wrong. I doubt it though. :o

I love Dylan's work and I'll never be able to listen to this song the same way again. It'll always remind me of this opening credits sequence. By the way, everyone, I've managed to save the file in a PS3 compatible format. I'll upload it and post it here soon.

Here's a download link for the iPod/PS3 version. Before you click download, uncheck the little advertising box or it will take you to an advertising page when the download prompt comes up. They used to not have this garbage on MediaFire, but at least they give you an option to avoid it.

OK, I managed to get an iPod-compatible version through Quicktime Pro. It will also play on the PS3. I'm uploading it right now. The file size is around 10 megabytes bigger than the original so it'll take a little while longer.
