My computer doesnt keep me logged into sites...

Well, I had a virus on my computer, it is gone now, but now it seems that I am not being able to stay signed into this site, or deviantart etc after I exit my internet. It never did this before. I always check the ''remember me'' box for this site and for DA, it would just keep me logged in. Now ,even though I check off the ''remember me'' box, once I close my internet, I'm logged off.

EDIT: and before, when I would roll over to ''My documents'', it wouls show the names of the pictures I last saved and now, it doesnt do that.

Is there any thing I can do to fix this?

(I'm sorry if my explaining is a little fuzzy, I'm not much of a techie, actually, I'm not a techie at all)

Is that what you mean?

I know it isnt great and firefox is better, but 1. I hate having to get used to something again and 2. it is a shared computer, and my parents dont like me to download things, so we're sticking with IE. We used to have Rogers Hi speed Internet, but we had to reboot our whole system a while ago, so I dont know what happened with that.

It sucks. It even signs me out of my homepage (Rogers Yahoo) and I hate having to keep on signing in ALL the time.

Use Firefox portable....doesn't install....and the default stays are IE

I'll have to ask my mom if that is ok, because again, it is a shared computer. We all use it(but mostly me) so, I'll have to ask.
