Hey guys

How's it going?

As you know, I've been an on-off poster here for a little bit now. What you may not know is I'm actually a professional singer, songwriter & model. So here I am! Just wanted to officially share the big news with my Superhero Hype family...

My brand new debut single, Don't You Think?, has just been released digitally everywhere.

You can hear the full song here:

It's available now on iTunes, CD Baby and all good digital music outlets. Feel free to please spread the word... Would be so great if you guys could get behind me ;).

So stoked!

Not too bad. I'm digging the single. Good luck with your career.

Ipodman: Thanks for liking!

E-Man: I appreciate that dude, cheers.

Dude, thats awesome. Seriously. Im impressed. Its obvious you have a lot of talent. Good luck with your career bro. Count me in as a fan!

dude, my computer cannot access youtube(it messes up and goes on a perpetual loading loop b4 shutting the window down 4 some reason), but i wll embed your song here in this post and listen to it.
good luck, it is a great feeling having a CD/record in your hands that you actually made after listening to them for years and wanting to make one of your own for so long.

edit: ok, i thought it was a good song, and sounded good production wise as well, nice clear and open sound with good backing vocals, a very summer-y record.
btw I thought you meant it was on CD, like , you were saying 'baby' as you were excited after 'CD' in the op, if i understand the ad correctly at the end of the youtube that means CD baby is a digital record store?
i have an ep up on various download shops as well from 2007, it was the last record our band made, it was only pressed into about 500-600 vinyl singles, so i don't know if anyone is buying the thing online at all. The guy who owns the record company gave me 100pounds a while back when i needed it, so i take that as my royalties.
You probably already know this...but make sure you get all your money from any radio plays you get, over here in the UK there is an organisation you can join that sorts that out for you, but we didn't get around to that stuff, forgot(only got played a couple of times anyway, but it is about 50pounds each time), so make sure no-one rips you off for that.
Best of luck, keep writing, making em and posting em. If you get or have had any gigs filmed, throw them up on the thread as well, may as well eh?

I really enjoyed a lot of the other performances seen on youtube (your channel, which I subscribed to and other channels as well). Will any of those songs be on the full EP?

Uh oh... Be careful for what you search for on YouTube, God knows what's floating around on there dude! Haha...

No, the songs on this EP are 100% all new. I also write for other artists, so some of what you find online may be demos.

So it's an EP? Awww I was hoping that it would be a full length album, but I can't complain too much. Getting your songs out there is a pretty good accomplishment itself.

Haha. Sorry dude..! It will be almost as long as a full-length though & definitely great quality man.

You are a talented guy, and it takes SO much work to be in both the modeling and music industry. Major props! Best of luck to you, and I look forward to hearing more songs from you in the future

Thanks so much, that's real kind of you ;). What do you do for a living?

I work in Marketing & Communications at a hospital coordinating two different programs. The first one is for pregnant women in need -educational classes and a "points" system that lets them earn points for going to the doctor and our classes, and they can spend the points on baby care items. I see a lot of clueless scared teenagers :csad: It's to educate women to help prevent infant mortality. The second is the hospital's volunteer program.

I enjoy my job overall, but it isn't my passion. It was essentially a case of "take what I can get that I don't despise." I was an English major, haha. And before English, I would have chosen to major in music, but I tried to pick a degree where I stood a good chance of getting a job, regardless of the economy here. At least I still get to write and edit at my current job :oldrazz: And I was promoted within my first 6 months on the job, so I guess that means I'm good at what I do? It is a very patience-trying position. I enjoy both music and fashion, and I always sort of wonder where my life would be if I'd chosen to pursue either fields. They're still fun hobbies! :woot:

I am proud of you for pursuing what you love and having success in it  It's a wonderful thing to see someone do well. I had a friend who dropped out of high school to sing, and she is still in the same place that she was all those years ago. It makes me sad for her because she works so hard at it.
