Backstory:
I've got a 2006 Macbook Pro with 2GHz Intel Core Duo Processor. When I bought it, it had 1 gb of ram (667 MHz Ram).
Now:
I decided to buy some RAM and got a 2 g Crucial (200 pin ddr2 667). It was the right type.
Then:
I installed the ram and turned on my Macbook Pro...and the screen was just black. I went back to make sure the ram was properly inserted and it was.
My question is: What did I do wrong? I've heard Macs can be picky with certain brands, but I heard that Crucial was good. I've also heard that newegg sells generic parts and not the factory stuff.
Help!
