Well this might be a bad time since there are tons of these fan Spidey 4s going around but hey. It isnt a script more of a story of what I think should happen in Spiderman 4. For example it may say "Spider-man then swung to the Daily Bugle" but obviously in a movie it wouldnt show this it would just cut from wherever Spidey is to the Bugle. However in some parts I have actually said that the scene would change. If I get a posotive response I will post a Spiderman 5. I want you to be honest with your comments however bear in mind that this is my first ever fan fiction. The opening is a bit grisly but I thought it was neccesary to show the character of Cletus Cassidy (He doesnt become Carnage I just thought it would be better than using a random thug).
The film opens with credits similar to the previous 3 films but with a green colour scheme. There are images of the characters drawn in comic-book style when the actor’s names come up. The last few credits will be destroyed by gunshots. (Spoiler- the green is for The Lizard and the gunshots help it flow into the next scene as well as indicating the coming of Kraven)
The scene changes to police outside an old warehouse a police officer with a megaphone shouts, “Cletus Cassidy you have ten seconds to come out or we are coming in”. The countdown ends and nothing has happened so a team of five officers heavily armed walk into the building. Inside there is a corridor with many different rooms. Heavy Metal can be heard playing loudly and there is blood all over the walls. An officer walks into a room and the camera quickly turns to show a young girl around nine, dead on the floor with her head twisted all the way round and an ear missing. (This should make the audience jump) “Oh my god” we hear from an officer in another room and the camera moves to his location we see him stood in a room where severed limbs have been nailed all over the walls some of them still dripping with blood. “Regroup!!! We’ll stick together”. The officer shouts and they all meet back in the hall. The sound of the heavy metal suddenly stops and instead manic laughter fills the building we see a hand pull a lever and then all the lights go out. The screen is black for around ten seconds then suddenly there is a scream (this should also make the audience jump) a few seconds later the lights come back on and there are only four officers stood there. The scene changes to the missing officer pressed against a table. We know get are first look at Cassidy he will be very similar to his comic appearance (red hair and the sort) A manic grin will be spread across his face. His shirt will be bloodstained. He will place a chisel in the centre of the officers head then raise a hammer and swing down to smack the chisel through the officers head. However before we see this the scene will change to the out side of the building where Spiderman will swing down and land next to Captain Stacy “What’s the prob cap?” he will ask and Stacy will reply “ you know that guy who has been behind all the disgusting murders we’ve had reported lately? The one who pretended to be a substitute teacher then killed all the kids? We found him”. “I’m on it” Spidey replies and swings to the door “Be careful this guy is one sick puppy” Stacy shouts after him. Spidey crashes through the window only to find the officer with a chisel through his head dead on the table. He walks out into the corridor where the other officers are all dead and scattered up and down the corridor. Spiderman’s spider sense goes off then Cassidy jumps out at him but he dodges. Cassidy lands in a clump on the floor and stabs the knife into Spiderman’s foot before rolling round the corner. Spiderman pulls the knife out of his foot and then chases Cassidy. He finds him in a room. Cassidy is just stood in the centre of the room laughing “Game over you lose man hehehehe” “Big words coming from a cornered, unarmed, creep”(he lost his knife when he stabbed Spidey and ran and left the hammer and chisel with his first victim) “Hehehehehe oooh but spidey poo what’s in my cupboard man” he opens a cupboard door and finds one of the officers that originally entered the building tied to a chair and gagged with a bomb taped to his chest. “See you around man” says Cletus as he pushes past the distracted Spiderman. Spidey quickly pulls the bomb of the officer then grabs him and jumps out the window. The building explodes behind them “You alright?” Spidey asks the officer “ye, hopefully the explosion killed the bastard” he replies. We then hear a voice over of peter parker saying “just another day for Spiderman” and he goes on, gift curse great power responsibility mary jane blah blah blah with images of parkers daily life in the back ground. (okay Ill admit it I couldnt think of anything to say here that hasnt been done before)
We then move onto Peter talking to MJ about getting back together however she refuses and says that she is not ready after the whole black suit fiasco and so soon after Harry’s death. Next we go to Peter in Doctor Connors class (performing magnificently) and at the end he asks Pete to stay behind. He tells him “Pete your one of the best students I have ever had and I would like you to assist me with a little project this Friday night at 8pm” Peter accepts and finds Gwen Stacy waiting outside class for him. “Hi I have tickets to see that show tomorrow night, the one that has been getting all those good reviews, you know Kraven The Hunter and I was wondering If you would like to come with me?” Peter accepts. Next Peter goes to see his aunt may he tells her that he feels guilty for accepting Gwen’s date when he still has feelings for MJ” She tells him not to worry and that this isn’t serious its just a night out with a friend and that MJ will come round soon enough. We then see peter walk into his apartment after avoiding “The rent guy”. He looks at his ticket to see Kraven then puts it on his bedside table and goes to sleep. The next day he goes to the bugle where he gives JJJ some photographs of Spidey and Cassidy. JJJ then asks him to get some pictures of Kraven whilst he is at the show. On his way out he bumps into a man who says “ Oh hi I don’t want to bother you but I’m new, the name’s Ned Leeds I was wondering if you could show me where (looking down at a piece of paper) Betty Brant is?” Peter points at her “Wow…well thanks” Ned says then hurries over. Then Peters phone rings. Its Gwen, she asks him to meet her at a pizza place before the show, he accepts.
We then move to a scene of Doctor Connors in his lab looking at a lizard then righting something down. On a blackboard in the background it says “Regeneration serum” then all sorts of chemical equations are written beneath. We see him walk over to a cupboard and take out a glass container with the symbiote from spidey 3 inside it. Then we move to the pizza place where Gwen and Peter seem to be getting along however when she tries to hold his hand he pulls it away. Then they walk into a round room for the show. Chairs are all around the edge of the room behind a tall glass wall. There they run into Betty Brant and Ned Leeds. Betty says “He just asked me out at the bugle, just like that” The four of them decide to sit together. Then the show starts Calypso walks into the centre of the room and introduces Kraven the Hunter (Who is dressed in his classic comic book look he has a rifle on his back and two knives on his belt) He does all kinds of amazing stunts such jumps and flips higher than normally possible. Peter is taking pictures. Then two Lions are released upon Kraven however he easily handles them. He takes a bow then removes a small brown bag from his belt. He takes some orange dust from the bag then throws it to the ground and disappears in a cloud of smoke. The crowd cheers and the curtains fall. “Come on Pete, lets go back stage and see if we can get an interview for the Bugle” Betty asks. So they do. The scene changes to back stage. Kraven is sat drinking a lime green liquid from a vial and Calypso says “I wish you would stop drinking that…you remember what it did to you in Africa…” She stops because Peter and Betty have walked in. Kraven stands up and roars “This area is for performers only” Betty looks a little shaken then says “I know but we just wanted to know If we could schedule an interview for the daily bugle?” Kraven seemed to calm down. “Well I do need all the publicity I can get…Very well then how about Saturday morning?” “Sounds great” Betty replies and they leave. Betty walks back to Ned but Peter stops because he spots MJ…with another man. He walks over and asks her who it is. She tells him “His name is Morrie Bench, he’s a sailor”. He then replies “Too sad after Harry’s death to have a relationship my arse” and walks away. Morrie curls his hand into a fist and begins to walk after him but MJ stops him. As Peter walks out of the theatre he meets up with Gwen who says “I really had fun with you tonight Peter and…well I think your funny and cute and your reeeaaally smart…so do you think I could be your girlfriend?” However at that moment MJ and Morrie walk out of the building, Peter knew MJ was looking so took Gwen in his arms and kissed her. “Wow I guess that’s a yes then” said Gwen afterwards “see you in class tomorrow” she says then kisses him on the cheek and walks away. Peter looks back to MJ who is in tears, Morrie is comforting her and he gives Peter a dirty look. We then fade out and the scene changes to Peter talking to Aunt May in her kitchen the next morning.
He tells her about how he only agreed to go out with Gwen to make MJ jealous and after seeing her reaction feels horrible about it. “Shame on you Peter, you’re a good boy how could you do that to poor Mary Jane?” Aunt May says Peter just sighs and walks away. The scene changes to Peter and Gwen in Doctor Connors class holding hands. “Well that’s it, end of class clear out you lot” Doctor Connors said. Peter stayed behind because he had told Doctor Connors he would help him tonight. He walked from the classroom up to Doctor Connors lab. “Well Parker” Connors began “I bet your wondering what I’m working one, It’s a regeneration serum It heals serious injuries, It can even allow people to grow new limbs…for people like myself who lost one in a tragic accident” He pointed to his missing arm. “But how Doctor Connors?” asked Peter. “By combining reptilian DNA with human DNA and using the sample of that symbiote you gave me a few months ago I have managed to create a serum that gives humans the reptilian quality of growing new limbs…I am going to test it on myself know and that is why you are here Peter, the chances are slim but…If anything goes wrong you are to call an ambulance understand?” “But Professor this is suicide, messing with human DNA is dangerous and so is the symbiote”!!! Peter exclaimed. But by this time Doctor Connors had already taken a syringe and injected the serum into his blood stream. He cried out in pain and began to thrash about knocking everything of his desks. He was sweating and Peter was about to go for help when all of a sudden a scrawny new arm grew on Doctor Connors it wasn’t much more than skin and bone but then it started to inflate until it was ordinary size. Doctor Connors stopped thrashing about and looked up. His face was pale and sweaty and half of his lab was destroyed but he had done it, grown a new limb. “Are you ok?” Asked Peter. “Yes fine…no better than fine I feel amazing, so full of youth, so strong I just want to be alone for a while…you can go Peter”. So Peter does go. The scene changes to the bugle the next morning where Kraven the Hunter is being interviewed. Peter gives his pictures from the show to JJJ then leaves. However after the interview JJJ invites Kraven into his office. “Look jungle boy I run the Bugle and we could sponsor you, tell everyone you’re the best act in the world, but I’ve seen your skills, so I want you to do something, you will be well paid, I want you to capture Spiderman and bring him to me” Kraven agrees.
Peter as Spiderman is out looking for any signs that Cassidy escaped the explosion when suddenly a net catches him in mid-air he falls and lands on a roof. Kraven walks over to the captured Spiderman “too easy” he smirked however Spidey easily broke free of the net. Kraven took the two knives of his belt and began slashing at Spiderman with amazing speed and precision. He managed to dodge a few slashes but then got hit. It was a deep cut. Kraven then picked up the momentarily stunned Spiderman and slammed him against a wall. Spidey recovered fast and landed a good few punches on Kraven before leaping higher onto the wall and then taking Kraven’s knives and throwing them away with his webs then pushing himself hard of the wall and launching himself at Kraven. Kraven was too fast however and dodged the attack so spidey hit the ground hard. Whilst Spidey was on the floor Kraven walked over and began to stamp hard on his back, neck and head. Spiderman rolled out of the way and hopped back onto the wall. Kraven got his rifle off his back and began to fire BANG miss, Spidey’s spider sense helped him avoid the shots BANG miss BANG miss BANG miss. Then Kraven got the pouch he had used in the show from his belt and threw some of the dust at Spidey. Thick smoke filled the air, but it was not just smoke Spidey felt dizzy and his spider sense wasn’t working properly, his reactions were slow and he fell of the wall and landed hard on the roof. He looked around for Kraven but could see nothing in the smoke until BANG hit!!! Spidey collapsed and was on the verge of becoming unconscious. A shape was in the smoke. It was Kraven. His hands reached out and began to choke Spiderman. Spidey knew he only had one shot. He fired his web randomly through the smoke and pulled himself out. His head was clearer now but he was still in great pain. Kraven ran out of the smoke and tried to hit Spidey across the head with his rifle but he dodged it. He then began to pummel Kraven as hard as he could. Kraven managed to push him off but did not look to good after the bombardment of fists. Spidey took this chance and jumped onto the wall then pushed himself of it and towards Kraven with all his might. THUMP Kraven was hit so hard he flew off the roof. Spidey looked over the edge but there was no sign of Kraven. There was however a small vial of lime green liquid lying on the ground. Spidey picked it up and decided to take it to Doctor Connors to find out what it was. (All through the fight Spidey would be making wise cracks…but I can’t actually think of any right now so left it out)
After a short ride and a quick change he swung in through the open window and shouted Doctor Connors “Go away!” growled something in the corner. Peter looked towards the corner and saw Doctor Connor’s back to him. Peter walked closer and Connors quickly turned around and shouted “Go away” (this should make the audience jump) His eyes were now red and he had pointed yellow teeth, the arm that had grown back a few days ago was now much more muscular than his other one and was covered in hard green scales and at the end of each finger was a long, sharp, black, claw. Connor’s freezes for a moment at the shock of peter seeing his new appearance (and so the audience can get a better look) then spins round. A tail flies out from under his lab coat and hits Peter hard against the wall. He then fled quickly out of the room and down the hall. Peter got up and chased him. Connors slammed a student that was blocking his way through the wall with his reptilian arm then carried on running. Peter kept chasing until they reached outside and with amazing speed ripped open a manhole and jumped down into the sewers. Spidey leaped in after him but was too slow. There were several different paths he could have taken and Peter had no idea which. Peter changed back to Spiderman and swung home. After bandaging up his injuries and taking a nap for a few hours he started worrying about Mary Jane. He had been way out of order using Gwen just to make her jealous. Just as he was thinking this there was a knock on his door and Gwen walked in. “Oh my god Peter!” she said as she walked in and saw his injuries. “Oh this its nothing… somebody tried to mug me on the subway but I didn’t have anything on me so no harm done” Peter replied. “No harm done, look at you! You know what if you can give me a description I’ll pass it on to my father, it pay’s being the daughter of the captain of the police force you know, mind you he has been very busy today…” said Gwen. “Busy with what?” asked Peter. “Well as silly as this will sound, reports of a giant lizard attacking people in the sewers”. (The image of Connors as seen earlier will flash on screen now) “Well see forget me besides it isn’t really the injuries that are bothering me”. “Then what is it hun?” asked Gwen. Its Mary Jane Peter sighed (Gwen’s face turned into a frown) “God Peter will you let her go, I’m your girl friend now and sometimes I feel like you don’t even care about me but here you worrying about an ex! Am I always going to be second prize to you Peter Parker?” Gwen cried angrily. “For your information” Peter burst out angrily. “I never wanted to be your boy friend in the first place but you asked and MJ was taken!”. Tears came to Gwen’s eyes, “Oh my God” she cried “You where using me to make her jealous!” “No I would never…” peter started “Why not!!!” screamed Gwen “It wouldn’t be the first time would it?” (the dance scene in Spiderman 3). Gwen stormed out of Peter’s apartment. A few seconds later the door opened again Peter looked up hopefully that it might be Gwen, that he could apologise but the face he saw looking at him was male. It spoke “So…Is this bad time for rent?” The scene fades to black and then changes to Kraven back stage at the theatre drinking bottle after bottle of the lime green liquid “Stop Stop STOP” pleaded Calypso “ You will go mad again like in Africa, you will become an animal!!!” Kraven pushed Calypso over “Shut up, I need more strength to defeat Spiderman he humiliated me, he is probably rather pleased with himself right now but we shall see how he feels once I have skinned him, only then will he learn what it truly is to deal with a hunter!!!” and then stormed out or the room and picks up a copy of the daily bugle with the headline “Giant Lizard Lurks In Sewers!”. Kraven stared down at the headline and said to himself “Perhaps there are bigger prizes than Spiderman…but of course he will try and save his precious city from this animal…and then I will have them both!” He then turns the page and points to the text underneath a picture of Spiderman which says “Photographs by Peter Parker .The scene now changes again to a sewer worker walking along whistling to himself then a huge scaly clawed hand pulls him into the darkness with a growl (this should make the audience jump)
