Netflix has greenlit a new TV adaptation of "Little House on the Prairie," the beloved book series written by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Ehh… I’m sure some of the ****ty reactionaries could attach their “this was TV before it went woke!” ideologies to it, but I don’t think there’s anything inherently nefarious to bringing the Ingalls family back.

Now, if any of the major outlets take the bait on Roseanne’s new show, that’s definitely something that could only happen because Trump winning has some conservative execs feeling emboldened.

I think its more that they want in on that Taylor Sheridon western ****. Which is inherently incompatible with Little House on the Prairie, so we will see.

Was kind of expecting them to go for bigger names (relatively speaking) for Charles and Caroline.

Far from it; sources confirm for me that when the series opens, Carrie (played on the OG series by Lindsay and Sidney Greenbush) simply has not been born yet.

Kind of surprised they’re including her at all. I thought she was just an invention of the ‘70s series.
