on another level, it's way past time for new group albums and solo albums.. jimmy jam/terry lewis and babyface probably don't charge what they used to now that their own careers as producers/songwriters has cooled down in the past 10 years.. seems like there would be some forward thinking record label scouts who look at New Edition as a "classic soul" group now, seasoned veterans like the Temptations or Whispers for those previous generations.. of course now, for most labels the priority is teen - 30-ish artists/bands, so... sigh... we'll see..
