New interview with Steve Gainer & Keram Malicki-Sanchez!

Great Interview. Nice listen, covers a lot of topics. Keram and Steve seem really passionate about what they do. I actually have more confidence in this movie after listening to the podcast

Haha I was only half listening at first, and it took me a good 5 minutes to realize it was Ink that was interviewing Steve Gainer.

Heh, Ink reads the IMDB boards. And thinks for some reason that there was Punisher trailers with the Dark Knight. Nice try, Ink. If only. I also like how at points it turns into just a conversation between the two, rather than an interview. It sounds like they really had a good shoot.

EDIT Oooh, sounds like the working budget for PWZ was upwards of 35 million. Working budget! That's good to hear.

Maybe Ink should Keram-cast Ray next. Unless he's afraid of getting his face punched in again.

And if anyone DOESN'T want to listen to the interview, but wants to know what it's all about...

Keram, the guy interviewing, plays Ink. He is interviewing Steve Gainer, who was the DoP.

Main points:

-The movie's working budget is upwards of 35,000,000, not 20 million.
-There is a lot of dialogue and drama in the movie, drama that hasn't been seen in trailers yet.
-The shooting time went over the supposed 40 days, for extra shoots in Vancouver.
-Blade Runner was an inspiration for the set and style.
-Both feel the movie will do well, partly due to it's rather sparse debut weekend.
-Everyone was really excited during filming because of the lighting, which took approximately $60,000 of the budget to do.

Hmmm. Interesting! I like that Blade Runner was an inspiration for the set and style.

That's promising!:unishr:

Regardless of the intent, I still don't like the lighting.

This is great to hear.It will be nice to see the movie will keep a good balance betwen the story and action.

Damn Steve Gainer is hardcore dedicated. Keram Malicki-Sanchez sounds sincere, great to hear their thoughts on the movie.

It is interesting and definitely promising but the whole "Blade Runner" thing at this point is kind of cliche'.:whatever:

That's pretty much what Steve Gainer says. It was the guy playing Ink in the interview that said that, and Steve Gainer was kinda "yeah, well, I mean..."

$35 million. Lexi must have went crazy on the rubber heads and lighting...haha

I kid, I kid...

or do I?
