i love em his joker is the reason we have the Ledger joker and i love the ledger joker. if u look close at his joker u can see ledgers in there also i love his dent look at the nose its crazy

Yeah, his Joker is obviously a huge influence on the TDK Joker. But I have a problem with Lee Bermejo because he doesn't understand the character. He once made a comment about him being "sexually mysterious," which is totally absurd, and his gruesome cut smile is uncharacteristic of Joker because Joker is too vain to do that to himself no matter how crazy he is.

There are some other ridiculous things he said in that same interview, it's one of the ones with BOF. The man doesn't know his stuff. He should draw for other comics.

I don't care what Lee Bermejo said in an interview... his illustrations are fantastic.
 
I completely agree with the sexually mysterious part about the joker. He is a very flamboyant and odd character.

With Joker, I can kinda get, but Dent? He has half his face hit with f**king ACID. He's going to look ridiculously gruesome.

Besides, that Bermejo picture's just as messed up as, say, Tim Sale's, and it's pretty much fanboy law to slobber on that knob, so...:o
 
Damn, she looks just like Katie Holmes.

Dent looks awesome as Dent! :)

I disagree. True, Two Face will be gruesome, but I don't think Sale's drawings are as gruesome as Bermejo's. I personally am partial to Tim Sale's drawings, especially of Two Face in TLH, however, he's been drawn by others well, too.

I hate the cut-smile too, but how exactly is it "totally absurd" that the Joker would be "sexually mysterious?" Frankly, I think that describes the Joker pretty well. I mean, it's not like the Joker is capable of having what you could call a normal sexual relationship. Judging by his relationship with Harley, he would appear to be a sadomasochist, but it's not exactly clear whether or not the Joker is even physically able to have sex. He also very well could just be very sexually repressed. And deny it all you want, but Joker's obsession with Batman in every one of his incarnations does contain blatantly homo-erotic overtones.

"Sexually mysterious" is exactly how I'd describe the Joker.

Now can somebody tell me, please, how out of all the reasons why one would have to "hate this movie already," that blonde hair, something that is integral to Harvey Dent/Two-Face's character at the absolute most minimal level, is topping people's list?
