I remember Activision talking about creations made specific for the game.

Yeah I read an article a while ago saying that they'd created a whole new universe for the game so I think you're right.

From the trailers, it looks like Noir-verse is going to be more of an Arkham Asylum stealth-type gameplay. And the 616-verse looks to be more of a God of War-style button masher.
