The first 5 minutes of Finding Nemo are out of the safe zone.

Almost everything about Up was out of the safe zone.

i'd only agree about the Incredibles and Wall-E being very different...

Pixar is very nasty for showing the art. Now i want to see it, but i won't.

Pixar really needs to get out of its safe zone...

no matter how great their movies end up being or how much money they make im never excited about their movies. Incredibles being the exception because it was different than their previous films about animals, monsters, robots, bugs, toys, cars, fish etc. it was about people(though superhuman).
It's getting almost formulaic at this point...
mark my words this movie will have another one of Pixars 5min silent montage scenes too. Id say a cute dumb wacky side character(UP dog,wall-e roach,Cars' junk car.etc)too but that seems obvious already.

They belong to disney for crying out loud. They make children's movie. Define "safe zone". They incorporated great themes into their movies...and in a very tasteful manner at that. Do you want their movies to be mostly about human characters? How exactly would that be stepping out of the "safe zone"?
Also I love how you lump animals, monsters, robots, bugs, toys, cars, and fish into the same category because obviously they are all sooo similar

they are a little in their safe zone. but i dont know how to explain it.

but they will not change. they have now a winning streak. and it would be idiotic from them to brake this streak with a different type movie.

Car's 2 and Monster Inc 2 is proof that they are now starting to look on movies like producers and not anymore like artist's.

That depends on the quality of those two films. Just because they're doing sequels doesn't mean they've become artistically bankrupt. Did you see Toy Story 3?

you mean the second sequel to Toy Story that was very similar to TS2?

yeah i saw it. and again a good movie but still a sequel that didnt need to happen.

Who are you to say what didn't need to happen? The story was about the relationship between those toys (mainly Woody) and Andy, and that arc wasn't finished with Toy Story 2.
