I hope no issues responding to a post from 2022 as I want to share my thoughts after finishing this show.

To sum up – how could a show with such top-notch acting be so boring?

The sci-fi mystery had me hooked for the first 2-3 episodes however the lack of answers & progression proved frustrating. The acting was amazing all across the board, and the story about Franklin & Irene was great (with very relevant themes about aging, relationships, health, etc.).

They nailed the family drama but not the sci-fi until the last episode. Sadly the show’s been cancelled, so it’s up to our imaginations on what happens after that cliffhanger ending.
