hes actually been boxing since he was 12 and his moms a black belt, so i'm guessing he could do the fighting. plus he's 6' 2" and really hot.

it could be a possibility :yay:

No offense, but your casting is pretty baaaaaad.

Hunter Gomez as Robin/Nightwing or the kid in Batman Begins as Robin/Batman, by the time they make a Nightwing movie (if they even do) they would be old enough.

I always thought, if it were filmed 10 yrs. ago, or if his tragic accident didn't befall him, Brandon Lee would be perfect.

If the kid looks like Nightwing right now - then he is too old, period. Nightwing without a Robin backstory is stupid.

Really, you could start a Nightwing movie like the comic series did - with him moving to Bludhaven and stuff, and more or less leave out the Robin origin. Or, better yet, leave it for someone in the Batman movie series to tell. I really don't think it would hinder the story all that much - I mean, people can get that he was Batman's sidekick, people can get they had a falling out, etc., etc.

Works better as a TV show.

I agree... you can get away with stuff like this in tv, where you can't in a movie, especially since the current Bat-franchise is so young. The tv series could be about him moving to Bludhaven, and it could have occasional flashback scenes like the ones used in Birds of Prey (although, I only watched the first episode of that show, and it was so bad I never looked back).

It would work better in animation, IMO you can do alot more in animation than in live action. so i vote that a nightwing movie is done in animation.

I gotta disagree with you about BoP, Donnie Darko, I loved it. It could have been made closer to the comic, but I enjoyed it for what it was. That said, Dina Meyer will always be my choice for Oracle. Rose McGowen is a interesting pick that I could see as Selina. Jason Scott Lee would be a convincing Nightwing, but I don't see that happening anytime.

:wow: ooooooo! u know what'd be really good? a nightwing series kinda like smallville!!!!!! i'm sure they could find a whole bunch of fodder for the script, i mean he's living w/ batman after all! but they shouldn't focus on batman himself tho, the should focus on dick in his last years of hs and then his move to bludhaven, kinda like clark went from smallville hs to metropolis. it would rock sooo much! just get a hot actor & you're set!!!!!

look at the teen titans casting thread- that guy matt long look wise is perfect.

That could work, but the writers could have Dick living in the dorms (like he did in Batman TAS) so that way that don't even have to mention Bruce at all.

Come to think of it a Nightwing tv show like Smallville wouldn't work at all.
How are you going to show Dick growing up to who he is with out putting a Robin costume on him. (I say Robin cause if he is still in Gotham then he is still Robin) and what struggles would he have? He's not gaining powers, and his training started when he was like 10 with Batman.
So I really can't see this as a tv show.

the show could be about him breaking away from his identity of a sidekick and just plain growing up. clark hasn't really been discovering any new powers lately, but the shows still going well. so i think it would work with the right writers and cast.

Yes he did Clark discovered his super breath in the second episode this season

That could work, but again Smallville is so good because it's Superman with out the costume. In a Nightwing tv show you would need action and fighting so how could they do a show like Smallville but have Dick dress up like Robin and then like Nightwing every episode, what you would have is a male version of Birds of Prey.

i think they are too rugged in my opinion-but then again the comics do show him like that. maybe its because i like men clean shaven personally- oh well

Waste of time. How about you put a little thought into curing cancer or something. Just look how the last Batman character spin-off movie turned out. CINO ring a bell?

i would cure cancer but i have a 3 o clock. oh well. CINO was a bad movie not because it was a batman spinoff but because it had a ribbish script and bad acting.any movie can suffer from that.

I'm tired of *****ebags creating threads for every freaking character that they can think of because they saw someone on TV or in a movie that resembled an artist's rendition of that character. Dude, did you see The Covenant? If you did, then you have horrible taste in movies and should never ever try to contribute towards any kind of casting. If you knew anything about how movies were made then you'd know WB will not be making anymore movies about smaller tier characters. Constantine was awesome but didn't do well enough to warrant a sequel. Why would a Nightwing movie do good, especially since a new Batman franchise just started? How could you explain his origin without skipping years into the future with the new Batman. **** and start thinking. Just because someone looks like a drawing doesn't mean they should be that character. That kid hopefully will never act again. You, the people that made The Covenant possible, and fans of The Covenant should be burned so that crowds of people like you will never show up to movies like that. They are an insult toward real cinema and people with brains.

This from a guy who cant even think of a decent name. Besides, Nightwing actually does deserve his own movie. And damn, you need calm the **** down.

Nightwing does deserve his own movie - however only after Robin has been established.
