Nintendo Sold For $13,000 On Ebay!

Geez, read the article.

Why? Not the console itself, but one of the games bundled with it -- a deeply obscure 1987 release called Stadium Events, a highly sought-after collectors' item. But it wasn't even the game itself that was worth the bulk of the money -- it was the original cardboard box, which collectors value at a breathtaking $10,000.

Misleading title. At first I thought I was gonna have to demand some cash from my aunt, who I sold my old NES to years ago.

Geez, read the article.

$13,000 for this?

The people of Haiti must be proud.

I loved the Power Glove......though I did cut the cord and just rocked the glove.

Stadium Events?! That's one of the few games the Angry Video Game Nerd needs to complete his NES collection!

Perhaps he bought it lol

I donated an NES game with original box to him. He sent me an autographed card of his combined intro artwork.

hahahah I used to have that game years ago. Hated it. I think it was because the power mat never worked.

Power Pad and Power Glove were crap.

It's so baaaaaad. :csad:

:rimshot:

But in all seriousness, that's crazy that this is what is worth 13k. I don't know, I mean I can understand the drive to complete a collection, but thousands of dollars on a game (which doesn't even seem all that great) seems excessive to the point of super-sanity.

Freddy bought it.

And that's not even THE rarest most sought after Nintendo game, this one is...
