Definitely the extended Lord of the Rings trilogy. I think there are plans to release the theatrical versions, but I really prefer the extended. I also really want to see the Star Wars saga on Blu-Ray. Hopefully such a release will have a ridiculous archive of extra features.

It continues to baffle me that we haven't see Star Wars released on Blu Ray yet. I don't understand why, not only has it not been released, but that we haven't heard anything about it.

Definitely the extended cuts of Lord of the Rings too. I will pick up the theatrical cuts in April when they are released, but I want the extended editions. The only times I EVER watch the theatrical cuts is when I catch one of the films on TV. If I'm watching on DVD, it's extended all the way.

It just takes Lucas time to figure out how much more money he can jip people out of. He could release the special updated editions of the original trilogy on Blu-Ray first & then release the original unaltered versions later on, hopefully he will make it to were you get both versions per Blu-Ray set.

I got a Blu-ray player for Christmas and my first movie was Star Trek a couple of nights ago. The picture blew me away. My regular DVDs still look great after upconverting but the picture on Blu-ray is just too awesome for words.

not to tell people what to post but there is little point posting wish list titles that have been in the movies in the past couple because they are a lock for blu ray with usually as little as a 6 month gap from the movie to blu ray.

Star wars won't come out on Blu-ray until the players are as ubiquitous in people's homes as dvd players are now. It wasn't until 2004 that star wars came out on dvd.
