The red on the inside of the cape should be the red on the shole suit. Take away those stupid boots and raise the height of the shorts.

I think the suit looks perfect there, not too cartooony bright, but not black either.

Whats wrong with the boots again? I cant really see the difference from the contemporary version?

How? Explain?

The only real difference I see is the color tint, to match the darker red on the rest of the suit.

I think he is probably referring to the "bulkiness" around the bottom and back of the boots. Ex. being the \S/ on the back of the boots.

I personally have gotten over my quips with the suit except for the collar. Lower it for the sequel please.

With them thick soles, which are like them new Nike rediculous soles, he would have to wear clown shoes to hide them under his Clark kent shoes. And no he does not hide them somewhere else and put them on. We saw clearly in the elevator change sequence that he had them under his shoes.

Unbelieveable. I'm shocked that anyone could even notice that from the film.

let me see if I save the pics from when the suit was in the lobby of the ToysRUs in NY, and you can clearly see just how big those boots are.

Oh I've seen those. I just meant it wasnt that apparent from the movie footage. I thought u noticed it in the movie itself.

Heres the question though. How could even these boots fit into a pair of work dress shoes....honestly;

I can see him fitting those things on. The sole is very thin and the acutall boot is very thin too. Not like these. I couldnt find the ToysRUs display, but if you look at the boots on the toys and scultures, you can see how big the soles are. They are actually bigger on the real boots

The S shield on the back sticks out a lot further than it does on this dolls boot sculpt. About as much or a litle bit mroe than they do on the bottom pic.

Look at how big those soles are. And trust me, the pics from the ToysRUs NY display they are much bigger than on these dolls. Do this, go get some basketball shoes with soles like this. you know the fancy Nike ones, in a shoe store in your size. Then try to find a shoe that will go over those while you are wearing them. If you can find a pair, then put them on over the shoes and go to the mirror and see how rediculous you look and how big the shoes are. Clown College.

Okay. BUT heres the strange thing. If you have a bootleg copy, watch the elevator transformation over...

I dont see him removing any shoes when hes changing from Clark to Superman...

Well first, having a bootleg is illegal. Sorry but I can't not say it.

But, if you look at the scene, obviously he is wearing his clark shooes as he is in the Daily planet. If he were wearing those, everyone would see he was wearing Superman boots. So he walks into the elvator and we have to asume he kicks off his shoes as he drops his shirt. So they would have to logically be under his clark shoes. And Singer showed us the shoes clark wears with that walk in shot of him coming back to the dailey planet with his suitcases.

It's Morphin Time!

No he doesn't have morphing boots.

I think it's a mistake. In the novel, he goes to the closet to get his superman uniform doesn't he? That'd mean it'd make a more sense that he'd not being wearing those boots under his clothes like we're lead to believe.

in the elevator shaft change, he clearly has his suit under his clothes, and he does not stop to go to the closet. He goes from Lois computer to the hallway, then stops when the peopel in the elevator gets out, goes into it, then, before the door closes, he starts flying up and changes in the shaft with his suit clearly under his clothes.

Uh... super-socks that turn into shoes when in contact with.... uh.... air?

People people people...

Why is it so hard to just sit down and actualy think of the simplest and probably real reason why the big foundation. Comfort, the actor's comfort for when he has to jump high, land from a high distance etc. It's really simple, try running with some work shoes , then try running with these so called "nike" boots, im shure you will feel it helps the physical performance with the last one.

Not everything is made 100% just for imaging, so stuff is actualy made for specific actors. You do know this is a movie and that the guy playing Superman is just a normal human being right?

No wonder some movies are dumbed down for audiences, from these kind of little stupid nitpicking. Not everything in a movie is real, some stuff is always for looks. How boring would it be to see Superman change for a few minutes on screen, whats the point?
