Didn't The Distillers do a cover of the Spidey theme for the SM-2 soundtrack?

i thought they did a song for sm:2 game

I loved SM2 Soundtrack, I hope that at least one of this groups: Yellowcard, Dashboard Confessional, Train, Hoobastank, Lostprophets, Midtown, Maroon 5, :O returns and give us a nice song... The first three I mention were the ones that I think made a song that suited perfectly to the movie...

Train - Ordinary was a great song

eh...i don't really care. most of the songs don't even make it into the movie, and if they do, some are barely even existent. like...playing in a car radio lightly. or in a bar or something like that.

there's just one of two songs that need to stand out. this'll be a good soundtrack though. i can feel it.

Vindicated was a good choice and I'm not particularly a fan of Dashboard Confessional. They wrote a good little ditty there, though. That Chad Kroeger/Josie Scott song sucked though. HARD.

If they want a real hero song, they should've chosen "Heroes" by David Bowie, but that'll never happen. :p

Animal I have Become - Three Days Grace

It really fits the Spidey 3 theme of Peter becoming somebody/something he isn't.

I think Green Day could make a good Spider-Man 3 main theme song. The movie is going to be emotional. I think they are the best band to do it.

SM1- Hero: Was alright.
SM2- Vindicated- Excellent Song! Fit the movie perfectly.

don't they always get an artist or band to record the song specifically for the movie?

Rock Songs do not fit with Superhero Movies. As long as it is done similiar to how X-Men 2 did it with the whole Car & Backstreet Boys thing that is fine. But for the most part keep Rock Songs out of Comic Book Superhero Movies :down

Are you saying that the Backstreet Boys were a rock band? If you are, please end yourself.

If green day ever was present on a spider-man soundtrack or any form of track with sound that comes with a movie i like i will have to tear out my eyeballs with my nails and fill my sockets with bleach...although that wouldn't stop me from hearing the song I'm sure my blindness will cause a life threatening accident.

There is no doubt in my mind that "back in black" by ACDC will either be used in the trailers or the film.

I don't think it would be in the movie, but it would have been a great choice.

If I ever make a fan made trailer for Sm3, I will put Linkin Park-By Myself... fits with the whole plot I guess

I would love to hear "Victim of Changes" by Judas Priest. The song relates pretty well to Peter's plight with the black suit, and it sounds sinister enough for it to be the theme song for the symbiote :venom:

I believe this song fits in a scene possibly the emotional climax between Gwen, Peter/Spidey, & Mary Jane... Coincidentally it happens to be by "Train"... :spidey:

Train - All I Ever Wanted

If that link does NOT work, try this one below...

Train - All I Ever Wanted

Here's hoping for it in Spider-man 3.... The end of Mary Jane scene maybe.

Holy Hell...you people have HORRIBLE taste in music. Hopefully, you're just still in high school and going through the ****e music phase, but damn! Train? Green Day? Nickleback? Effing Nickelback? And Linkin Park? Is there a pill for you peoples' disease?

now i dnt know if i would like to hear this in the spidey 3 but down with the sickness explains it pretty well....its explain the relationship with the eddie and the symbiote prefectly....songs overplayed though

Drowning deep in my sea of loathing
Broken your servant I kneel
(Will you give in to me?)
It seems what's left of my human side
Is slowly changing in me
(Will you give in to me?)

Looking at my own reflection
When suddenly it changes
Violently it changes
There is no turning back now
You've woken up the demon in me

Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Open up your hate, and let it flow into me
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
You mother get up come on get down with the sickness
You ****er get up come on get down with the sickness
Madness is the gift, that has been given to me

I can see inside you, the sickness is rising
Don't try to deny what you feel
(Will you give in to me?)
It seems that all that was good has died
And is decaying in me

It seems you're having some trouble
In dealing with these changes
Living with these changes (oh no)
The world is a scary place
Now that you've woken up the demon in me

I can't believe that someone actually likes Disturbed enough to take the time to type their ****ty lyrics.
