The way I see it, now that THE OMEN has been remade (and badly at that...word on the street), all bets are off, no film is freaking safe.

Well add the classic Zombie flick and one of my personal fav RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD to the remake hit list.

I heard via a very reliable source that Producer Anatoly Fradis, who brought us the lackluster ROTLD 4 and 5 is now aiming to remake the original. Why? $$$! What else? Urg...when will it end...

the orginal ROLD is a bloody classic and from what i here the 4th and 5th sequal are on par with uwe boll crap. this sucks:mad:

Yeah it could be good sense ROLD was a bad movieto begin with they might improve it.

Bleh..... all I can say is if they **** up the Tarman, then there'll be hell to pay. :o

bugger off ROLD was superb, one of the ebst horror comedys around.

Haha. How do you remake something so crappy it was funny? The thing is, it was made during the 80's, so it kinda has that ****ty nostalgia feel to it lol This better be on the Sci-fi channel. If it makes it to theaters someone involved with this film should die.

Next I'm guessing they'll remake Top Secret!, Real Genius, Willow, Tombstone, Red Planet, Escape From New York, Big Trouble in Little China, Robocop, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, Cats Don't Dance...

My bad. Scratch out New York and replace it with the Back to the Future Trilogy.

They shouldn't be allowed to remake movies from the 80's. It's a crime against humanity lol

how can the omen be bad? the commercail scares the hell outta me, him and his guy guardner hair cut :(

It was, but so is your face.

This is no fun if you actually take offense:(

The original was an all time favorite of mine, I'd be interested to see an updated version. I also loved the sequels, I never saw enough of them.

Jaws The Goonies and Ghostbusters will all be remade in 10 years.
Not Ghostbusters, please. :(

Not for the next 70 years, that is. Like King Kong.

I wonder if in 70 years they'll do a remake of Blade Runner. If they do, it wouldn't be a futuristic piece anymore. :(

When they remake "Blade Runner", they probably start crying that it's an adaptation of "Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep?" to hide the fact that it's a remake.

Just like they did with the Willy Wonka remake, the Planet of the Apes remake, the East of Eden remake...

Jude law for rick deckard!

We're not too far away from 2019 anymore, are we?
