Ok theory on this possible "youth" driven JL cast...

If recent news is true of course...

It could be that this was some sort of agreement with camps from BB and SR to ensure those franchises operate totally separate. Maybe the issues with Nolan/Bale were resolved when they explained it will be a younger cast, and distinguish itself separate enough to where there is no threat of wrapping up other franchises. The stories could be reflecting such a totally different time in the heroes lives that it won't step on Nolan or Singer's (if he matters in the equation) toes.

I'd rather think something like that than just assume he's getting a popcorn flick out there that will bring in young audiences and cash money. :-/

That's probably the best possible idea I've heard. I doubt if the general audience will think of Bale's Batman as the year one version after TDK and (if) Singer gets another chance, his Superman lacks a true origin story so he's anyone we want him to be despite Bosworth and Routh's youth.

It just upsets me that Batman is protrayed as this paranoid hero towards superpowers, but he's just starting out. He has no reason not to trust them and to build a Brother Eye seems ******ed.

michael keaton was in mr. mom and beetle juice prior to batman, not to mention another handful of films Reeve was in a couple tv shows and in some movie no one knows, not quite the same unkown status

according to my "sources" all the actors in jl are going to be in their late teens early 20's playing characters in their 30's and all the actors for the teen titans are going to be in their late 20's early 30's playing teenagers. I know it sounds weird but my "sources" are about 93.28571% sure about this, and apparently its the trend in hollywood and at wb to really miscast everyone.

Doesn't matter to me...IF this turns to be the cast that ends up playing ICONIC DC characters as a team.....then it's laughably bad how they expect the hardcore fanbase to love this whole ridiculuos rush job of an idea.

The news regarding this silly project keeps getting very IFFY....to say the least.
