Where's the Sailor Moon live action movie, starring Megan Fox as Mars, Jessica Beil as Jupiter, Jessica Alba as Venus, Ellen Page as Sailor Moon, Elizabeth Banks as Mercury, (all in micro-mini skirts) and Zach Braff as Tuxedo Kamen?

Oooooo why not have Susan Sarandon or Meryl Streep as Queen Beryl?!

Seriously. If we can get a piece of crap Dragonball movie, we should be able to get a REALLY bad Sailor Moon movie.

Not really, the only one who would command a price at the moment would be Megan Fox. The others haven't been in anything that made lots of money lately. Alba's washed out, Elizabeth Banks isn't a headliner (Zack and Miri make a Porno flopped), Jessica Beil is no Gwenyth Paltrow, and Ellen Page only has Juno to her name... so.. pennies. Zach Braff sucked in everything but Scrubs, so he'd be a dime at most (have to pay him more than the women, just to maintain the "men get paid more" discrimination)

Besides, I had to use actors people know, coz it's the sort of thing that happens. Take a few established actors and a popular, untranslatable-to-film franchise, and make a movie. AKA Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Super Mario, Doom, Dungeons and Dragons, Dragonball, etc.

If I said "Let's get a bunch of moonies from alt.fan.sailor-moon" it just wouldn't be the same. Who'd honestly want to see a bunch of emo chicks with striped leggings and voodoo dolls walking around as sailor moon characters?

Dude... you are jonesing over a cartoon character... that's disturbing on all sorts of levels.

Besides, ever seen Juno? Ellen Page is mouthy, whiny, and fairly annoying... stick some buns on her head and she'd be just fine.

Afterall, no matter who they would cast in the hypothetical situation, the movie would suck big time, so it really doesn't matter who they cast. Videogames and anime should not be translated to film. It never works.
