Bloody Disgusting learned exclusively today that one of Patrick Lussier's potential future projects could be a new thriller entitled In Darkness. Penned by Rowdy Herrington (director of Road House), the intriguing pic follows a young, ambitious female public defender who must try and get an acquittal for a man who claims he killed his wife to save her soul; the shocker being that he claims his wife was a vampire. But the best defense - proving that vampires really exist - puts the attorney's life in danger. Patrick Lussier, who is "in talks" for the project, is in the middle of delivering Drive Angry 3D to Summit Entertainment for release on February 11. Lussier also directed the Todd Farmer penned My Bloody Valentine 3D and was collaborating with Farmer on Halloween 3D.
