Man is that a Funny movie. Chris Rock and Wanda Sykes are both just gut busting funny. David Cross ain't to shabby either. Lance Crouther is F'n funny as Pootie, J.B. Smoove is also funny as Trucky. Louis CK is a great directer and writer in this film. And how can I forget Bad Biddy, Dirty Dee & Frooggy. Pootie Tang is just a funny ass movie

I was so disapointed with this movie.I was hoping it would at least be as funny as the skits on the Chris Rock show,but I ended up being very disapointed.

i loved the tang.

i still let a little pootie-ism slip every once in a while... it's perfect for when you can't really think of something to say, or you don't care to, so you just say "sattatay on my cappa town, my dami" or something to that effect.

The few minutes I've seen of it are funny.

The silent song gag in that movie is awesome...really funny stuff right there.

However the movie is weak. While I find several moments funny, the characters original, it has no story. The funny moments are there, but there is nothing in the middle to hold them together.

Overall I cannot really say I am a fan of the film. It needs a stronger story and then I think it could function very well as a B-comedy.

I got finished watching it and it was the first time I watched it in like 10-11 months and I found it really funny and fell inlove with it all over agian and decieded to start a theard about it.
