After his stunt with Quincannon, Jesse is Annville's newest rock star. Tulip and Cassidy connect, and The Cowboy makes a tragic decision.

That opening with The Saint was amazing. They nailed (a part of) his story perfectly. Tulip was amazing this week as well. Negga is awesome in the role.

That Saints opening was beautiful.

This one was a big step up compared to last weeks episode which I found quite boring.

It's a weird TV show. It feels disjointed... but I really like it? Idk.

Episode 6 better be their best and most accessible episode. GoT's absence will probably get them some first-time viewers.

I was willing to give the show a chance, but when they had
Tulip willingly, and sober, get screwed by Cassidy
that was my breaking point.

This show is has gone so far and away past who these characters are in the source material that they might as well created new ones.

This isn't an adaption, more like "inspired by".

It's not terrible that she did that. It could be a one time thing that lingers over their friendship with Jesse. And the comic situation can still happen later. In fact what she did here is kind of a reversal

It's terrible because it's WILDLY out of character for both her and Jesse. In the books, the only thing that could pull Jesse from Tulip was death and Gran'ma. Even then, when he got the word, he took off immediately. And Tulip wouldn't even THINK to look Cassidy's way until Jesse was dead and she was hopped up on booze and drugs.

Her revenge-banging someone is ridiculous and Jesse sticking with the Preacher of the town thing after getting the Word is even dumber.

This show is like some bizarre "What if Jesse's congregations didn't get blown up when he got the word". Sorry, but it's so far and away from the books that it's unrecognizable.

then stop watching the show its obvious that your a purist and cant take change well

With all due respect (even though you showed little with the minor insult), I'm trying to give the show a chance. I have no problem with change; I do have an issue with arbitrary change.

Not all change is good.

That really threw me off too. Most of the changes are pretty reasonable, but that seemed waaaaay out of character for her.
