Primus got back together in 2003.

They released "Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People", an EP of new material with a DVD of all their music videos and footage from various concerts. They also toured for a couple months- live show consisted of 2 sets, the second set being Sailing the Seas of Cheese in it's entirety.

2004 brought another tour, this time the second set was Frizzle Fry in it's entirety, and they filmed a show for a DVD, Hallucino-Genetics.

Another DVD came out last year, Blame It On The Fish: An Abstract Look at the 2003 Primus Tour De Fromage.

And there are rumors circulating of a new studio album in the works, but nothing substantial so far. Just an email from Bob Cock

I am guitar-oriented and their guitsrist sucks ****.
Ruins the whole thing for me.
And I outgrew "whimsical" poppy-gloppy wickety-gickety bOiNg-BrOwr music long ago.
I was also grossed out because I love the 80's incarnation of King Crimson, and one of their best songs is called "Thela Hun Ginjeet".

So I hear that there's a live L.Clay thing where they do a cover of it.
So I was pretty interested to hear it, went to Border's to hear it on their headphones, and. it. was. HORRible.
I hope the band drank 18 pitchers of beer each, 'cause that would be the only excuse for such a butchering.

yea i agree im not a fan of their guitarest either, les's bass playing alone should be enough.

I actually find Larry Lalonde's style to be one of the most experimental and interesting, specially at the time when Primus was starting to seep into the mainstream

he once said about his style something like this: "what I do, is I find the scales and keys in which the song is done, and play all the wrong notes"
