Ever heard of this project from Princeton University? If you haven't, get ready to read some wild ****.
http://noosphere.princeton.edu/
In a nutshell, their goal is to prove that the consciousness of everyone on Earth is shared. It's one consciousness, separated into 6.5 billion people. Yes, just like James Cameron's Avatar.
We are all connected, and, depending on the energy that each of us gives off, that individual energy becomes the overall energy/mood of everyone and the planet.
More negative energy, hate, crime, rape, murder = More earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis on Earth. It sounds completely ludicrous, but just look at some of their findings on the site. Some of their graphs and charts are staggering. If you ever have time, snoop around on that site for at least an hour.
The Global Consciousness Project is an international, multidisciplinary collaboration of scientists and engineers. We collect data continuously from a global network of physical random number generators located in 70 host sites around the world. The data are transmitted to a central archive which now contains more than 12 years of random data in parallel sequences of synchronized 200-bit trials every second.
Our purpose is to examine subtle correlations that reflect the presence and activity of consciousness in the world. We predict structure in what should be random data, associated with major global events. The data overall show a highly significant departure from expectation, confirming our prediction.
