Calling that a Star Fox copy is ridiculous, mainly because all Star Fox did was put animals in the cockpit of already existing spaceship designs (Star Wars, to name merely the most popular of them). And aside from that, the only similarity is the gameplay, and calling that copying is bull**** on two counts:

A) What other way of playing the game would offer the same amount of control, while still allowing you to fight in a completely 3 dimensional world with the battle raging all around you is there?

B) That would be like calling every first person shooter a copy of the original (I'll admit, I can't think of what the first FPS was right now).

You do know that STARFOX/STARWING was a copy of X-Wing for the PC right?

This game is not a copy of the STARFOX games.
