PlayStation 3 with the 60GB hard drive and three games for 549 pounds, roughly $1,016. The three games included are Warhawk, Formula One 06, and SingStar--perfect for gamers who like air combat, driving, and karaoke games.

Assuming the previously reported 425-pound price point is to remain true in the UK, it would mean that Play.com would be selling the three games for 124 pounds ($230), or just over 41 pounds per game (just over $76). The early bird also won't necessarily get the worm--Play.com does not guarantee delivery of the bundles before Christmas.

Comparison to 360 bundles released also in article and they are saying we should expect bundles for all the consoles.

How much do games that are usually $50 and $60 in USA cost in the UK?

£50 (yes that is a rip off in comparison. The UK gets ripped off on everything :( )

Awesome! 3 games no one wants.

Why do you think they're in the bundle. *cues evil laughter*

NOT EXACTLY A BUNDLE OF JOY, NOW IS IT? :o

You could say it's a bundle of concentrated crazyness from ol'Krazy Ken himself.

Hey THWIP weren't you the one that linked to an article a while back saying that in the Future Microsoft might buy Sony ? If Sony keeps going this route with Bundles & Games no one would even want & the Prices of the PS3 alone & the fact that the PS3 Games might be even higher then the 360 Games. It seems Microsoft may in fact buy Sony one day. Sony is digging their own grave with their Game Division or w/e that is called. To bad :(

The 360 bundles come with atleast 1 decent game like COD2, PDZ, or Oblivion.

YES, 'TWAS I. :o CONSIDERING THE DATA BELOW, I THINK IT'S SAFE TO SAY 'MS' HAS THE ABILITLY TO DO JUST THAT. BUT, IT WOULD BE ONE OF THE LARGEST BUYOUTS/MERGERS IN HISTORY, IF IT WERE TO HAPPEN.

The one from Futureshop is PGR3 with the premium.

C'mon people we're paying for potential here, the potential that someday you'll actually want to play these games. Although it'd be nice if they included something akin to Microsoft Office, the PS3 is a computer, not a video game console after all.

It is a Crapard Bell computer, and it runs on Boot it out the Windows 06 :o

Um there were more expensive 360 bundles, at least in the America.

I'm not sure why a bundle is evil, it's not like you have to buy them.

Problem is, it's a bundle of ****.At least 360 had King Kong (a port, but a port of a good game), Condemned and Call of Duty 2.

King Kong SUCKED.

Warhawk will be decent, and the Europeans love Formula One racing games...

Singstar is a multimillion seller per itteration down there.

THough it's not a bundle I'd rush out to buy that's for sure.

Fifa street was a multimillion seller, doesn't make it good.

I brought my 360 with 3 games for £400, thats the same deal (console and games I think look crap) for over £100 extra. I don't see that as a bargin, personally.

I loved King Kong.

Where have you been anyway? I missed our sparring matches :(

.... or I can wait a few months and get a new car?

.... or spring for a new laptop?

.... or go out hooker shopping with THWIP*?

HELL YEAH!

WAIT..........WHAT?

Okay, the bundle cost is one thing—how much would a system by itself with one controller cost? In American money…
