Yeh this is all bollocks and has been going around for a long time now.

Any google search on the topic will bring up all the myth busters you need.

Even that Wiki article cited above clarifies the story. As Robert Ballard, one of the world's foremost oceanographers, said, it's too deep at 2000 ft. Any human city or structure would've taken 50,000 years to sink to that depth.

I'm not a skeptic for skeptic's sake; I believe (and want to believe ) in a lot of the paranormal and unexplained. But I believe it's firmly established that the Atlantis myth derives from the very real scenario that happened to Crete. I also believe there *are* sunken structures (and maybe even cities) in the Caribbean and Atlantic; but they are most definitely of Meso-American origin, not European or Asian or Middle Eastern.

Atlantis? I am fairly certain is a myth, or if it did exist was likely based on Crete or another island in the Aegean sea. This however could be a legitmate "lost" island. Or a fake. There was another "lost" land found off the coast of Japan that was found to be amazingly a natural formation that looked like pyramids as well.
