Quantico

I had a good chuckle at "20th Century News" which was an obvious dig at Fox News. Seems like the entire episode went out of it's way to turn off the Republican base. lol

That Sports Illustrated-ish picture of Alex that the media was using at the beginning was hilarious.

Caleb is an ass.

These were my to overriding thoughts from the ep lol, surely it should have been an FBI head shot. I did like Alex's Mosque plan though, very smart.

As for Caleb, how is he getting so lucky with my gir......I mean Shelby!? :argh:......:nrv:

The entire premise of the show seems illogical to me. A bunch of new recruits trying to figure out who did it and not just going to the FBI who have more resources? Ryan constantly tipping Alex off while in the FBI and nobody getting suspicious? Alex being able to convince the dark web people of her innocence that soon? I don't know, it all seems ridiculous to me. Where was Natalie in this episode btw? It was weird not seeing her at the corporate event.

I think you're overthinking things. The whole premise is based on someone within the FBI itself framing Alex, therefore she and those helping her can't go to them because they don't know who to trust.

This show is getting predictable. At the end of ever episode they have something happen that makes you think. A-ha now we know who it is, then the next episode they write why that person isn't the bomber. I am fairly certain next episode the show will write a story telling us how the muslim twins aren't the bombers and they will have a new suspect right in the final 2 minutes of the episode.

I thought last weeks episode was great, this weeks was rather boring

i liked the part with Booth's phone and what he saved his contact as. When Fuentes found out, that was a nice touch.

I feel like Miranda's endgame is that she wants to send the twins in to infiltrate that group that recruited her son and take them out. it's obvious they'll be back. i think the twin who resents being there and the other who doesn't will have a schism of sorts. It's also revealed that eventually everyone knows there are two of them.

i still can't figure out why Shelby liked Caleb. i haven't liked him from day one. i kinda always felt that maybe he blew his shot so he'd get kicked out so that he could join the ranks in a different way like he did.

the scene with Miranda and her son outside the school was good stuff

This show is like the FBI agents version of How to Get Away with Murder and Grey's Anatomy. Like the training part of it is very similar to those shows and the flashforwards and the students being connected to a crime are so HTGAWM and I kinda like it and the show is interesting.

However, I feel like this is more fitting for a binge watch routine than a weekly commitment, like I watch every episode twice and I still get a little lost with the details and I feel like its gonna shy away the mainstream audience and the ratings are consistently dropping. I also wish the show gets more exciting and better, like its just an okay show but not great.

The theme of Alex falling out with someone each ep, throwing a tantrum and then making up with them is becoming a trademark. Simon remains ambiguous, he's almost too helpful, and Natalie must feel gutted that she wasted that shower lovin' on Booth when he was lying!

The stuff with Miranda and her son was really good, the way she used herself to teach the class was pretty bold, and I think you are spot on CC with what the game plan is with the twins as there has to be more to the son than just giving Miranda some personal drama.

I love Shelby but she has horrible taste in guys. :csad:

I wonder what the twins involvement in this will be next week.

the twins hit a high with winning the challenge, then a super low with Simon barging into their room. they should have their door locked like every single minute.

they showed another recruit today, and i'm pretty sure he was on Glee? and i've noticed that a lot of the background recruits are seen in multiple episodes. don't know if they're ever going to be given screen time but i like they're consistent with their extras at least.

did anyone else wonder why Alex didn't tell Shelby that Miranda helped her get away when she revealed that she wouldn't make it in prison if she turned herself in.

btw, still don't like Elias.

I don't like Elias either, or Caleb. Still don't get what his appeal is supposed to be.

And yeah, that one recruit was on Glee. He's either a red shirt or he'll turn out to be important later, as I doubt he's just a random background extra.

Caleb getting that Shelby lovin' makes no damn sense. :waa:

Is the Glee actor you're talking about the one Caleb thought was seeing Shelby? As I was pretty sure he was the guy that played Puck's half brother Jake and I think he's Jacob Artist in the credits.

Yeah, that's the guy. I was no longer watching Glee by the time he came along, but it seemed like he was a main character.

i could totally get it when shelby said he wasn't anything like the guys she went for and wanted a no strings attached thing. but when she said she wanted to be around him and liked him liked him, i couldn't figure out why.

i still think he's been playing down his abilities all this time

I guess it soon became an actual relationship until she had an affair with his dad.

the affair with the dad is only recent though right?
it ties in to her not being in buenes aires like her flight plan said. when she discovered Alex in her house, she was coming back from her little rendezvous with daddy Haas

Shelby girl... you can do so much better.

i kinda wish they'd downplay the romance though. everyone is hooking up with someone. natalie and the "red shirt", and eventually with ryan. ryan and alex. caleb and shelby. simon and one of the twins. etc etc

Yep, it's always been soapy, but the show's almost getting too soapy for my tastes.

i would like to see more training or more of what's being done to find alex. i'd like to see more training and sparring similar to Nikita i think

i liked how the training in the past tied into the software that the fbi was using in the present to search cameras and stuff for her
