This is a pretty cool tourney, Movies. I never noticed it before today

Carpenter and Craven.

I gave Wes the nod because he scarred me for life with Nightmare on Elm Street. I was ten when I saw it and holy hell did I have some sleepless nights. To this day it gives me the creeps more than any other horror flick.

Such a hard choice. I love Romero's zombies...but I think I'll go with John Carpenter, for his remake "The Thing". Kickass use of puppetry, much more frightening and disgusting than any CGI creation I've ever seen.

I'll take Cronenberg over Craven any day.

As for Romero v Carpenter, I enjoy both and refuse to decide

I voted for Carpenter the thing is a great movie, and for match 2 I voted Cronenberg. Cus i've see about half of wes Cravens movies and so far every single one of them suck.

Very easy voteh ere. I love the first two Romero zombie flicks but Day sucked, Land was unintentionally hilarious and none of his films are a spot on the terror of Halloween or the menace of The Thing. As bad as Vampires was, Land of the Dead was worse.

Cronenberg because....it's Cronenberg....come on.
