Questions for the mods/site admin

How come the member of this forum are never allowed to post leaked stuff, like the leaked Joker pics, youtube videos of the IMAx opening, etc while SuperHeroHype itself now shows a bootlegged recording of the trailer that is officially being released online next Sunday?

We are threatened with a ban or some kind of action, and now the site admin itself posts a cam recording of a trailer? If users would have done this, they would already have been banned or been threatened with some action...


Where to draw the line and keep everybody equal?

Let me put it this way:

Leaked= Not approved.

Meaning, SHH! could in theory be sued for allowing those pics on their site. If it wasn't for the legality of the situation, we could post all the leaked pics we want. Also, it's better to stay in the studio's good graces in order to bring you exclusive pics and interviews.

It's irrelevant, since it's part of their viral marketing campaign. Either way, that video has been taken down from Youtube, and no other video has been made available by the Hype.

When SHH! Admins and Mods request you not post leaked pics or trailers, its because they've been asked specifically by the studio no to allow them to be posted. In this case, I would bet my checking account that the WB had at some point asked the Hype to take down the youtube video, a request that became nullified the second it was taken off Youtube. You have to understand, SHH! is not trying to bully you guys into not enjoying leaked pics and discussing them, it's saving themselves to keep this community alive. So many websites have been destroyed by big companies, you can't blame the Hype for playing it safe from time to time.
