SMS?

Sado MasochiSt?

You'll have to ask your cell service provider to disable SMS on your phone, if they will do so. Removing Yahoo isn't going to solve your problem as SMS will still be active on your phone. *texts this message to Docker to make sure he gets it*

I called Verizon and they said they had nothing to do with it. I would have to talk to yahoo and send a message somewhere and it would disable it. :(

It still functions off of SMS, which is a service Verizon is providing to your phone. You can turn off the Yahoo IM but SMS will still be active and therefore subject to you getting more text messages which means higher monthly bills.
