Raimi's Dibbuk Box Finally Opened

Dibbuk Box is a script that landed on my doorstep a few weeks back. I was familiar with it thanks to Sam Raimi who told Shock a year or so back that it was a project he was shepherding.

It looks like it found a home. Deadline reports Lionsgate has picked it up and Raimi and Rob Tapert's Ghost House is producing.

Similar to Drag Me to Hell, Dibbuk Box is about the kicking of a curse. In this film's case, a family comes into possession of the titular item which harbors evil.

Juliet Snowden and Stiles White penned the script.

Wasn't the Dibbuk also used in The Unborn or was that something else that sounded alike?
