Anyone else looking forward to this? It has an interesting concept (A detective, played by Goldblum has hallucinations that the victims of the cases he is working talk to him.) Could be good...plus it has a great time slot (Thursday, 10 pm...the ER slot) so it might last. Anyone going to check it out?

I will be for Goldblum alone. I know a lot of people don't like him, but I think he's gold.

I'll be watching, cause ER is what I usually watch on Thursday. I wish Alexa Davalos was a series regular :csad:.

I saw this commercial and saw Goldblum in it.
I said "This show is going to be the shizniz."

"I'm the crazy detective! Look out! He's nuts! ...Weeeeeeeee."

:D:up:

Def checkin out this show, plus it's Jeff ****in Goldblum

I love Jeff Goldblum, but it looks like another show in the vein of "Medium" and "Ghost Whisperer".

I wish we could get a show that wasn't a recycled concept. I understand how the suit mentality works, but for ****s sake.

Anyway, I'll probably just watch because that Goldbloom bastards been watching my poop for years.

I saw the commercial for it during Heroes and thought it was funny. I'll watch the first epsiode for sure.

I loved one part of the preview where he's in the graveyard

Gravedigger: Who you talkin to?
Raines: The dead. They're hungry for brains and they feast tonight.

:woot:

I have been waiting for this series for FIVE MONTHS or maybe even more than that.... trust me guys, I have a very strong feeling that this might be a hit.

I've read the teleplays for every episode that has leaked onto the internet. Very interesting cases.... one stands out the most and I'm sure you guys will absolutely love this episode!!!

One of the cases revolves around a COMIC BOOK artist that was murdered. There is alot of talk about comic books in this episode and the way that they use a comic book- wow- all I can say is it's going to be one of the most unique and interesting hours of 'procedural' TV ever... especially for comic book fans! I'm not going to tell you how everything happens though, you'll just have to tune in to find out.

To clear up confusion:

It's a lot different than those shows.. I don't watch Medium, and Goldbloom's character really isn't as wacky as Monk.

Raines is more of your typical Jeff Goldbloom character ('Holy Man', for example comes to mind)... he's not Monk, he definitely has a Goldbloom character type approach.

This isn't medium. These aren't dead people- these are people that radically change as new information becomes available. These people are his SUBCONSCIOUS and as he pieces together the pieces of the puzzle the visions of these characters change. Thus, it's not ghosts- it's his SUBCONSCIOUS communication and how he deals with solving a case through visualizing the victim without meeting the victim. The victims only know as much as he does-

Just thought that I would let you guys know that Jeff Goldbloom is going to be on LETTERMAN.... *TONIGHT* most likely to promote the show, just thought that I would let you guys know...
