1.Eyes Wide Shut
2.The Color of the Money
3.Top Gun !

I give credit to Tom Cruise. Outside a few turds , he always made solid work. Not great , but also not mediocre.

So many great movies...here are my favourites:

Eyes Wide Shut
Valkyrie
Mission Impossible II
Legend
The Last Samurai
War of the Worlds
Interview with the Vampire

My faves are:

Eyes Wide Shut
Legend
Interview With The Vampire
Born on the Fourth of July

Magnolia isn't really a To Cruise movie. I'd put Jerry Maguire at #1. The movie rises and falls on his shoulders and he nails it.

I would say, in the top 5 for me are:

A Few Good Men
Jerry Maguire
The Firm
Top Gun
Mission Impossible 3

Hmmm it's hard to put all my faves in a list so here is just a few.

Top Gun
Legend
Jerry Maguire
Minority Report
The Last Samurai
A Few Good Men
Edge of Tomorrow

Tom Cruise is awesome. The only real movie star left. His commitment to his films sets a bench mark all young wannabe leading men should aspire to.

Eyes Wide Shut
The Color of Money
Minority Report
War of the Worlds
A Few Good Men
Interview with the Vampire
Born on the Fourth of July
Magnolia

1. Last Samurai

3. A Few Good Men
4. Oblivion
5. Collateral

my favorite Cruise movies.

Minority Report for me is a brilliant, on-the-edge-of-your seat mystery thriller

I say good movies IN SPITE of the presence of Tom Cruise:

  • War of the Worlds
  • A Few Good Men
  • Interview With the Vampire
I liked him in WotW because his usually cocky character gets knocked down a few pegs by the end of the movie!

kinda hard to pick.. many great ones..

I really like Collateral... its so rare that he plays a villian and its a pretty awesome portrayal.

(also one of the only movies where the digital look doesnt bother me and enhances the overall style imo)

Magnolia isn't really a To Cruise movie. I'd put Jerry Maguire at #1. The movie rises and falls on his shoulders and he nails it.

Yeah it's not a typical Tom Cruise film, but it has his best performance and it's the best film he's been in IMO.

Collateral is the best TC movie.(his best performance to say the least)

This isn't my ranking, because I've never thought about it in those terms, but my favourites of his are -

Jerry Maguire
The Last Samurai
Collateral
Minority Report
A Few Good Men
